Great food! great staff! great atmosphere! The mac & cheese, greenbeans, fried fish, fried chicken, rice and gravy. Yes I ate it all. You have to go to Daddy D's Suber Soulfood Restaurant.

Very friendly people and awesome soul food. Especially loved the collard greens and Mac and cheese.

HIDDEN GEM. Glad we found this place. You just can't get this food this good except from the heart. Staff was welcoming, attentive and very friendly. Food...... well I just can't describe it. AWESOME!! I can't rave enough. GREAT JOB DADDY D'S Staff!!

Best Comfort food in town besides my own kitchen.I had the buffet to try a little of everything. Fish, Pork, Chicken and some good country homemade sides. The Mac and Cheese, Coleslaw, Salad all fresh..The service was exceptional and the Sweet Tea is perfect.. My husband and I ate here for lunch and will definitely be back

So my family and I had read some reviews and all were very positive so we decided to give it a try. This was our first time there and I got the fried catfish plate with 2 sides and it was great! My fish was fried and had a nice crunch and breading. My sides were good add well. Which i got the apples and green beans. My girlfriend gor a veggie plateand liked her food as well. The only problem we had was she ordered sweet potatoe casserole a d we didn't get it.

Awesome people! The food was really good! Price was a bit high, but not to unusual for southern BBQ places. It's run down but really rustic. We were on the road and wife wanted livers and they had livers!!! The waiter was on point and really took care of us! We will go back!

One of my favorite places to eat! There is not just one specific thing I like better because all the food is delicious!

Our family ate from their food truck today. We ordered the Carolina Hot Dog plate , with Mac and cheese and fries! It was super delicious!

Food was hot and freshly prepared even though it was a buffet. Quality food at affordable prices. Only negative was that the place was a bit small.

Service was unprofessional. Saw roaches in dining area. Chicken and pork chops had a nice crispy crust. Inside chicken and pork chop was dry. Mac & Cheese was without flavor. Red velvet cake also lacked flavor. I wil not return. Do not recommend.

Fantastic food at a reasonable price. Service was fast as well as the food. Great staff with a easy going dress code. Just wish there was better parking. Have to park on the side of the road or down the next street and walk. Still would definitely reccomend going and getting the pork chops!

We went there for Mother's Day! Food was absolutely delicious and service was so friendly!! Their deep fried pork chops were so good I got 2 helpings which is rare for me in a restaurant! We will definitely go back!! 5 stars all the way!!

The macaroni and cheese will make you slap your mama its so good! I think the best I have ever had and thats saying a lot. Im southern so mac n cheese is a staple... The fried pork chop is delicious! We will be back for sure! 2 thumbs up!

Uhhh, Yum!!! Just outside of Hendo downtown, we stopped in late on Sunday afternoon and had their buffet. We had generous portions of great soul food including fried chicken and pork chops with gravy. Super friendly folks and a family of 3 eats for around $50. Definitely good in your tummy but hard on your waist -- just like good soul food should be!

The food was amazing and there was plenty to eat on a plate. Took a group of our residents who have Alzheimers/dementia out to lunch today and the server was very sweet towards the residents. This has to be one of the best home style, country cooking in town. Will definitely visit again. Thank you for the amazing customer service! :)

The food was so amazing! I've never had better fried chicken in my life. The owner's were so kind to us. It's the perfect family owned and operated restaurant. I absolutely recommend Daddy D's soul food to anyone who appreciates a great home cooked meal. A lot of love is put into the food. 5 stars!

Good southern comfort food. The first two times we ate here it was fantastic. The last time the buffet was low on choices, lots of beans but no greens. Mac and cheese was delicious, large fried pork chops, great chicken. Salad bar was good. The tea was the weakest I have ever tasted, both the sweet and unsweet. Had to ask for refills. May just have come on an off day. I would definitely try it again.

This was the best food I've had in years. Everything was delicious! It reminded me of Sunday dinner at grandma's house. Definitely recommend checking this place out!

I must have been there on a bad day. What horrible food. Any reputable chef would have thrown that chicken away and started over. It was almost burnt,way overcooked. Seasoning meat in green beans was either old or freezer burnt. And who uses penne noodles in mac and cheese. I have my theory on that. All i saw was someone pretending to be a restaurant. What a waste of$32. I won't be back. But good luck to you.

Wonderful Family atmosphere and real soulful home cooking.

I love this restaurant! They prepare delicious food, their menu is decent, The chef in that place is well trained, I enjoy a lot eating all their dishes. The dishes are consistently fresh and tasty, the service towards the clients is efficient. I go often to this restaurant and I not even once was unhappy. Highly recommended.

I celebrated my graduation this evening in this gorgeous place. Well it was a magnificent evening and the venue was evidently the reason for that happy evening. The crew contributed in a pleasant way, the cooking was yummy and my buddies were very joyful. We shall surely visit again for more events. Thank you very much.

This was the best restaurant I've been to in many years. The service was outstanding as well as the food. I usually shy away from any meat with bones but the pork chops were to die for. I also can't even describe how heavenly the cornbread was. I will be returning frequently and recommending to everyone I know in the area!!

Excellent Southern cooking, I had some fried pork chops that were excellent, corn bread was hot and fresh. Good sweet tea too. Highly recommend for lunch and some good country cooking.

Ribs and fried chicken were pretty good. burger was very plain. Fries clearly out of a bag. This restaurant was very dirty, like afraid to accidentally touch anything, dirty. I don't know if they could pass a health inspection. Then there are the waitresses. I have never had such bad or slow service. The waitress brought the burger and fries and said "i don't know why i brought you ranch instead of ketchup" waited a while, expecting her to bring some ketchup. She never returned to the table at all! Then another waitress i flagged down to fill my drink which had been sitting empty since before we got our food gave me tea and then went to walk away, even though my wife had a completely empty cup right there. When we stopped her to fill it, she filled it halfway and walked away, even though there was still tea in the pitcher. I realize it's a family restaurant, but they seriously need to clean it and nix the waitresses or at least teach them how to do their jobs

Got takeout tonight and really enjoyed it. We especially loved the chicken tenders (seasoned really well) and mac and cheese (baked, as it should be). Their takeout service was prompt and friendly. We will be back again!

This is the most amazing food I've had in a restaurant in my life!!! The chicken livers and cabbage have won my soul !!! If you haven't tried it you need to!!!

David Suber greets you as you walk though the door. Seat yourself. Be sure you get the Mac n Cheese. Good food, Good price. 10/10 would reccomend
